I take way too long to post things here. And it actually is therapeutic, so I don't see why. Anyway.

I'm totally sitting here and watching Spock's mom being all emotional over Spock's disappearance in an episode of ST:Gen. Her hair dress is pretty.
Man, summer sucks if you have nothing to do. I have no performances or rehearsals for The Tempest and nothing to do. Augh. I need to draw stuff, or get a new sketchbook. Or go see Hellboy! That would be sweet.
Yeah, there's nothing interesting happening right now. I just went and had food at Denny's with Tamlyn, then went curtain shopping. I was feeling all weird and my eyes had trouble focusing very well. Too much food perhaps?

Third day of King Lear rehearsal and OH MAN IS IT UP IN THE HIZZOUSE. I get beat the crap out of twice, then killed, but not before I pull a James Bond and double cross everybody's ass. (I'm Oswald the Steward, btw. Not a big role at all, but without him there doin' his thang the story probably wouldn't have been a tragedy). Went and saw Ocean's Thirteen with Zach, Corbet, and James afterward yesterday. It was fantabulous.
Dude, I salute whoever designed yearbooks this year. Shear genius. Plus, they gave each music department their own two pages instead of cramming everyone on just two pages like last year. Yaz.

WHO GOT INTO JAZZ CHOIR?
I GOT INTO JAZZ CHOIR.
Gretta and Monica came to my house and woke me up at 6:15 to go eat pancakes in Woodway with everyone xD. Choclate chip with whipped creme DELISH. Yum. But I couldn't finish xD. I can't eat things that are too sweet right in the morning or I feel sick. THEN WHY'D YOU GET PANCAKES COVERED IN SWEETY MCSWEETNESS? STFU I KNOW KAI. Anywhoo, the tradition for sports and the like is to give each of the new people plain white shirts that the seniors decorate with stuff that you have to wear. My says stuff like "A Lion in a Little Girl's Body" and "David Bowie Would Be Proud" (8D not even kidding) and "Scat Kitten". And a Jesus/Hobo Fish (what's up wit dat?). The seniors were talking about how at their shirt-making party last night it got really weird after awhile since everyone was sort of high from the sharpie fumes, so there're some crazy things on other people's shirts.
Then I went with Liz, Izzie, Peet, and Suzanne to Starbucks and got a small coffee stain on my shirt x3 Izzie stole Suzanne's jacket with a fur-lined hood and was strutting around being funny. After we dropped him at the college, went to my house to change shoes (which was a bad idea) seeing as we went on a nature hike at Boeing Creek afterward. Theeen, went to 7Eleven for slurpies and came back just in time for STAR period. Everyone was supposed to go around school singing, but it didn't happen (drat).
So needless to say my outfit planned for the Grease Spirit Day today sort of didn't happen. But I am wearing the Pink Ladies jacket. Mmm, we're having yummy yakisoba in Japanese right now.

Stuck at home laboring away at homework so I can hopefully catch part of Folklife today. It's been my past tradition to go all three days and OH MAN I ain't breaking it now. So I'll go do that, shall I?
You should all go see 'Pirates of the Caribbean 3' right now.
I can't begin to say how amazing it was. I'll tell you all a little secret; I've said many a time that in my secret heart of hearts I'm a hippie. I am officially revising that right now to say in my secret heart of hearts I'm a pirate. Or possibly I have two hearts. Which might be the case. There's nothing that gets my blood pumping like a high seas battle, guys. Nothing.
So yeah. Went and saw it w/Chase, Isa, Monica, Hannah, and both Katies after the improv class showcase. I even bedecked myself in the garb and everything andI'mtiredwantbedkbai!

Except for that last part, not a bad day. Tomorrow's another conference with the Italians (oh yeah). So yesterday (Wednesday) was Informal Initiation Day for new Thespians and OH MAN, what a blast. It's just as much fun to be an initiator as being an initiatee (I was the only frosh initiated last year, so I gots to take someone under ma wing). I think I did alright by Rowan, she wasn't too harassed, oh no. Lessee, I made her refer to all her teachers as Sir Lancelot, she had to shout 'One Ring to Rule Them All!" whenever she entered a classroom, her 'buddy' was my firstaid kit and whenever someone asked her about it, she would scream "AH! MY FLOOD! I'M FLEEDING!" and twitch on the ground, if someone asked why she was wearing blue and gold (one of the requirements) she had to sing the first verse of "Oh Canada", and whenever someone said her name she had to sing "Can you take me hiiiigherrr!". Yeah^^. Then after school was the secret Thespian ritual that is rather cult-like and comepletely secret. Tomorrow night is Formal when everyone recites the monologue they memorized, gets their certificates, and other awards and cool things.
Urgh. Words later. Now bed.

Yes, well. Tomorrow is another performance of Snow Angel as well as the Broadway voice lesson recital, which shall be grand. They're really close to being at the same time, but it should work out so I make accomplish my make-uping duties.
And I really don't have anything else to say. Yesterday was Teacher Appreciation Day. I remember in grade school I used to give all my teachers tulips.
I need to watch Labyrinth again soon. Very soon.

SO I was doing my homework like a good little girl, when I here what sounds like "Heard It Through The Grape Vine" drifting in my window. I think nothing of it at first, maybe someone down the street is having a party or whatnot, but then I start to get curious when I realise this is not a recording, but live music. So I head out the door to investigate. So my surprise, the music was comming all the way from the community college, a good two blocks away from my house. I cut across the back parking lot of HT and through the playground in it's direction (I had to hop a fence, which was exciting 8D), then make my way across the street to listen to a band playing cover tunes just beyond the college parking lot. The group I discovered was called Funkngroove and they were there for the 3rd annual Splash celebration.
I tell you right now, best damn cover artists I've ever heard, it ain't no lie. There were two saxophones, four guitars, drums, a keyboarder who also had a voice like a white Stevie Wonder and (no joke) he was actually blind, a percussionist, and five female singers all with the most amazing voices I've ever heard in person. I stayed and listened till they were done.
And that was my adventure for today. It was nice weather, too.

My body sort of gave up on me half way through lunch, ending in Gretta escorting me to the nurses for a lie-down. I was not feeling any better by lunches end, so I went to check in at fifth period to let them know where I was. Mr. Witt, further supporting my argument that he is a jerk and not helping my argument that he's a nice guy (because I swing both ways like that) got all indignant that I would choose to visit the nurses during class instead of during lunch like a good, obediant student. I was too taken aback to voice the simple fact that I had been there during lunch. He sent me on my way and I arrived back in tears, extremely upset at his attitude and not helping my mental state any. The nurse called my mom at work, I slept the hour it took her to come (school was over by then anyway), went home, slept more, got up, ate dinner, and am now doing homework.
Worst Monday on record.
Does anyone else find it at all odd that I can talk of all this as if it happened to someone else, or am I just too weary to care?
*sigh* Don't answer that question.

So.
I've come to the conclusion that I am a lame human being.
Having said that, my weekend was a barrel of interesting. Friday (oh man, Elly, prepare to be jealous) my first period English had a video 'conference' (here having the meaning of lots of teens sqealing in glee) with two classes in Italy. Their Dante teacher read us the first Canto in Italian 8DDD. Wow. And we're having another one in two weeks *glee*. Friday night was opening night of Snow Angel which went well. The afterparty included dinner at Red Robin's and going to Nick's to watch ten minutes of TMNT2 the original before leaving. Mmm yeah.
Saturday I avoided my homework and had another show, also going well, but the festivities following were lukewarm at best. Went to Dick's for food, then arguments ensued as to where to go from there. It ended in ten or so minutes at DBK's intended to be a dance party, but everyone sort of...left. Yeah :|. We all sort of ended up downtown at the Seattle Art Museum for it's opening all-nighter for it's new stuff. Poor Chase was still pissed off at Danniel and wasn't having fun ><. Austin and I split of him to let him have space, he certainly needed it.
Aaand Sunday was spent further avoid homework and attending the YSW sixteenth birthday thingie which was enjoyable ^^. Morgan and Alex and Josh from last year were there. David took me and we had quite the adventure when he couldn't find my house, then couldn't find the place xD.

So today was not the day that the photoshoot was destined to happen *sigh*. Liz had too much homework (oh man, can I relate to THAT) and we couldn't have gone very far to the cool places because, whoops, my parents would've skewered me if they found out. But since it didn't happen, this was not a problem and we'll be waiting for the weekend.
The pros of having done it were much more agreeable than the cons x[. Oh Kate, why must you ask for trouble so?

I murdered my left toe today. I thought something was crawling on my leg, so I kicked out like a startled horse and smashed my poor, unoffending nail into the metal leg of my desk. Needless to say, I had to hobble around for the remainder of school.
BTW, if you haven't seen this video with Madonna and Christopher Walken then YOU HAVEN'T TRUELY LIVED.

I'm fairly convinced that if I keep it up I will die at a young age.
Tomorrow's afterschool activities will hopefully include a photoshoot with Seth and Elizabeth for Lesbianic.
So, I promised everyone and myself that an entry would be made concerning my rompings at SakuraCon and Las Vegas. I'm guessing that no one will actually read them except for myself, but it doesn't really matter. So I guess this is a reminder to myself.
I said 'myself' three times. Somehow, that's disturbing.
I will tell you about one thing; and that is Friday night. Sleepover at Wildfire's house to prepare for Cascade Challenge (which I'm not going to), but we watched this movie later called 'Without A Clue'. It has now be added onto my ever-extending list of favorites. Micheal Caine is Sherlock Holmes and Ben Kingsley is Dr. John Watson in a story where Watson is the real detective genius and Holmes is an actor prone to drinking and womanizing on the side of his day job xD. Watson was so adorably ousted all the time by Holmes taking the credit (he was really adorable in general, with his indignant antics. I heart geeks ^___^).

LOOK AT THAT ADORABLE FACE. DON'T YOU JUST WANT TO PINCH HIS WIDDLE CHEEKS?
PS. sideburns = awesome
He can save my bacon anytime xD.
hahaha, GO TO BED KATE.

Just here to say that tomorrow begins my...
Exciting
SakuraCon
Adventure.
That's right, cats and kittens. My final journey will begin tomorrow evening at 6:30 when my mother will be coming home to drive me to the friend's house near the convention center where I will be staying. I'll be journeying along with a large group of friends who are all sharing hotel rooms and who I will join up with for much gay and joyful frolicking in our cosplay outfits of SUPREME SUPREMACY. All of which were sewed by Rachel's god-send, wonderful-seamstress mother Patty. I went over to be fitted for my Neo Queen Serenity get-up [Not my first choice; my first pic, Fai D. Flowright from Tsubasa, had simply too much to him for the time given, plus I would have killed myself from the heat. Fur sort of does that in April time. So, if you tease me about going as one of the most overdone, generic blonde characters in history I will poke your eyes out with a sharp flaming stick.], which will be AMAZING. She found me wings! Wings! I love that woman. I will also have the cutest Chii dress for the CLAMP photoshoot on Saturday and for the dance. Yeah, it's basically adorable.
I swear I will have pictures and will put them somewhere for the public to view if you so choose^^.
In other news, when I came home I dressed myself in pirate garb and stomped/fenced around the house. I wish I were a real pirate.....

I came home today and ABSOLUTELY SPACED OUT about the concert I was supposed to be at at 6:30. Seth called me around 7:20 wondering where I was. Thank god treble choir was going fifth -_-;;. His mom came and got me and I only missed the first song for Jazz Choir.
My solo for 'Popular' went the best it ever could. Meaning it was awesome. I totally expected to be switching around from chest voice to falcetto and making it sound crappy like it did in rehearsal (btw, I had choir class today and still forgot? *sigh*), BUT NO. This was not the case^^.
